Lino print By Monique
Rolling the ink onto the lino print, putting the paper on to the wet ink, pushing the press down as hard as I could tryingto get all the ink onto the paper, Peeling the paper back and feeling joy as I'd discoverd all of the wonderfull colours turned out.
We were very lucky to be time off, to be with John in the new art room doing our lino prints.
The first colour I rolledon to my lino was yellow. I then printed it onto four pieces of paper. After that, onone piece I used blue on top of the yellow and it looked 3-D.
Then I carved some more things into the backround like waves and ice because I did a penguin, Next I did other prints over my yellow and all together I made 16 lino prints. I had a good time and I liked all of the prints I made. My favourite colour combinations are Yellow, Red, and Green.
